BOYS VOLLEYBALL TRY-OUTS (2023-2024)
We are excited that you are interested in joining the Houston Stars boys volleyball family. At Houston Stars we are truly a family that trains together, grows together and competes together both on and off the court. We develop the Whole athlete and build character in the young men we train. We believe in our philosophy to impact the lives of our athletes.
Under direction of Aric Anderson, we have the best training methods that you can find. Our focus is to develop and train athletes in the HOUSTON area and not recruit talent from outside the city. Our efforts to grow the game of boys volleyball has been evident in our efforts to start boys programs at local schools throughout Houston.
Private Evaluations
Sign up for an evaluation and you will be invited to one of our training sessions where you will be able to meet up with some of the Houston Stars players and coaches and be evaluated for an opportunity to join one of our boys teams. Our training program runs year-round with opportunities both on the court and in the sand. Players fees include monthly dues and a 1x per year uniform fee. The Uniform fee is due upon acceptance to the program.

Meet the director: Coach Aric Anderson
Our boys director, Aric Anderson, spent 7 years as a consultant coach for the USA Men’s National team and still had ties with USA Men’s and Boy’s programs across the country. He is a Lead Clinician for Gold Medal Squared camps across the country and internationally. He brings a fire and compassion to coaching and our boys will greatly benefit from his leadership. We have also added coach Carlos Gutierrez to our coaching roster. Coach Carlos brings with him 40 years of playing and coaching experience and our program will benefit greatly by having him on board.
