Program Overview

Rising Stars is a program designed to give 9 to11 year old players an opportunity to train with high level coaches. The Rising Stars program is geared to install an early love for the game while introducing technical training to ensure a solid foundation for thier future in the sport. We also pioritize installing a love for the game. 

Developmental Academy is a program designed to give 12 to 15 year old players an opportunity to train with high level coaches. The Developmental Academy is geared to instill a love for the game while introducing technical training to ensure a solid foundation for their future in the sport and prepare them for advanced-level training.

We employ experienced coaches who are fully invested in the development of the players in these programs.  Both programs will be once a week for 5 weeks. 

Rising Stars and Developmental run sessions throughout the year so if you miss the opportunity to join for a season, stay tuned as we have new opportunities opening up often.

CURRENT RISING STARS AND DEVELOPMENTAL OFFERINGS

Winter Rising Stars Session and Developmental Academy will open shortly open. The Winter Rising Stars session runs 4:30 - 6 pm on Sundays.  Development Academy is on Sundays from 5 - 6:30 pm. Both sessions registrations will be opening soon.

Training Methodology

At Katy Stars, we believe in our training and methods.  We constantly evaluate the best practices for training and coaching and are constantly striving to improve how we develop ALL our athletes.  We employ a wide range of high-level coaches from diverse backgrounds. We have experience in coaching all levels from developmental, club, collegiate, and professional. We firmly believe that our faith-based culture and top-level coaches can build a solid foundation for a successful journey for every Katy Star athlete to be successful in the sport we love. 

Competition Levels

Our teams compete locally, regionally and across the country.  We have offerings for players of every ability and will always believe in the potential for players to grow and develop into GREAT volleyball players.

Future Development

The goal of our program is that we are able to transition all players into a regular club experience.  The training players receive in our developmental and Rising Stars programs seamlessly transition into the training received by our regular club program players.  We believe in purpose in all we do, so every contact a player takes will build them up toward eventual participation in club volleyball.
